Peixian Lu is currently an impact and Investment analyst intern at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator. He helps to create the incubator’s impact initiative and annual impact report. Previously, he was an accounting manager at the 1More Acoustic Technology’s US office. 1More is the headphone wing of Xiaomi (also called Mi), one of the leading cell phone providers in the world. During his time in 1More, he was involved in the company’s accounting, finance, and international operations, and product packaging. Prior to joining 1More, Peixian was an audit intern at Ernst & Young LLP’s San Jose office, where he served 2 multinational corporations.
Peixian graduated from of the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In his senior year, he worked as an associate at the Sorenson Global Impact Investing Center, where he has conducted due diligence and market research for 20+ early stage social enterprises across over 10 industries in India, US, and Mexico. He has also helped to translate publications from leading think tanks on impact investing in Chinese when he was in school.
Peixian is from Shanghai, China, and he is keen on impact investing in cleantech, education, and consumer product industries.
